Summary:

Ruby Lin and Lu Yi star kin this modern day version of Cinderella.

Ruby Lin portrays Su La who goes through thick and thin with her pal Yan Ruyu (Zeng Li). Whenever they have to confront any setbacks they mutually encourage each other. After graduating with a history major from a renowned university in Shanghai, they pledge to set up a big career and both find employment in a travel agency. By chance Su La runs into the successful and young CEO Qiu Shi who is captivated by the girls charm and purity. However, since Su La has been hurt in a former love affair, she hesitates to open her heart to Qiu Shi and invests all her time into her career.

Will they be together? That probably be in the question of most of you :) I know I did.
Paling sebel kalo tipe2 pelm kayak gini yg gak hepi ending, ya ga? ya ga? hehehe :P Anyhoo, the answer is pretty obvious, isn't it? :) but well, eventhough I haven't seen it till the end, but somehow in the opening credits, they spoiled out the scenes. Rese banget deh. Jadi bisa liat gitu upcoming scenes'nya.... :P

My opinion? So far so good. That young CEO, Qiu Shi, kadang keliatan cakep, kalem, cuek tapi romantis abis :) Gile tuch, mereka kan ketemunya di subway station, pas si Su La marahan sama ex'nya, trus lari2, eh nubruk nih cowo sampe kopinya dia tumpah. From the moment there, he already falls for her. Ceritanya love at first sight. hehehe...caelah.... ;)

Opening theme song sung by Ah Du, called Ta Yi Ding Heng Ai Ni is so goood! It sets the mood somehow :)

Oh, and this series is 20 episodes. not too bad...
I'm on 3. hehehe... tapi gara2 cousin gue nonton duluan, jadi tiap kali kerumah dia, I could see the advance episodes deh :P yah biar lah...hihi sneak previews ;) :P jadi gak nebak2 what happened next. kekekeh...

This series is made in mainland china. They spoke in mandarin, but with some added accent. Ruby Lin looks very modern in this film. Different than when she played as ruping in Qing Shen Shen Yu Meng Meng/Kabut Cinta. Settings also set in Shanghai :) our time.

[update 07/21/03]: I finished the series last night! :) YAY! from 16-20 straight. hehehe.
